Calibration and its certification comes in varying forms on new equipment and in this section, we will break it down into the three areas that we use to classify calibration state at the point of purchase.
Manufacturers Calibration Certificate
This is a calibration certificate offered by the manufacturer supplied with the tester. This is also known as an end-of-line certificate or manufacturer’s certificate. These certificates vary depending on the manufacturer and product. They will not have your company's name on them and don’t always show proven test results.

This instrument comes complete with the manufacturer's calibration certificate. Please be aware that these certificates are generic and may also be time-lapsed.

A manufacturer's certificate of conformity is not a calibration certificate. It is merely a statement that the equipment has been produced to operate within its intended application, it has no traceable certificate or constitutes any defined results for accuracy before leaving the manufacturing process.

This instrument comes with a ‘manufacturer's certificate of conformity’. It is important to understand that this does NOT constitute a ‘calibration certificate’. A certificate of conformity merely states that the equipment has been designed and produced to meet the requirements of its intended application.
Where calibration of an instrument is possible we will offer this as a separately purchasable item and may be selected from the drop-down box above. This is a calibration certificate created by us at ISS. This certificate is fully traceable to national and international standards. The certificate will show your company's details, tester information, proven test results and the equipment used to carry out the test. The Testmate C-FIT Non-Contact Forehead IR Thermometer is specially designed to take the body temperature of a person regardless of room temperature.
In today's uncertain climate there is a growing need for both companies and individuals to become more aware of their health and welfare and that of their family or staff.
One of the principal aids in this determination is a quality infrared thermometer. Suitable for use with all ages from babies to the elderly, a simple skin temperature measurement taken quickly and without any bodily contact is one of your first lines of defence in monitoring an individuals or a group of people's health and so minimising potential risk to others.

The C-FIT is accurate to 0.3°C with 0.1°C resolution when measuring skin temperatures between 32.0°C to 42.5°C. It is also very easy to use with no training required.
The device can be used to measure the body surface and forehead temperature of infants and adults without contact with the human body. it is a certified medical non-contact infrared thermometer with a high accuracy of just 0.3°C.
It is suitable for detecting fever symptoms where an elevated skin surface temperature is often an indicative sign.
The C-Fit has a fast response time of 0.5 seconds, plus users can set their own alarm value which will alert them both visually and audibly when exceeded.
Users can easily recall the last 32 measurements for reference and recording purposes. The unit also has an auto-off feature to conserve battery power.
The C-Fit unit has been designed to take over 4000 readings making it ideally suited to high traffic areas such as Schools, work places, airports and hospitals.

Is the TestMate C-FIT thermometer suitable for detecting coronavirus (COVID-19)?
The TestMate C-FIT is a certified, medical, non-contact infrared forehead thermometer, with a high degree of accuracy (0.3°C). The device is suitable for detecting traces of fever, including coronavirus (COVID-19) and other fevers where a higher body temperature is a common symptom. The C-FIT should not be used as the sole determinant of body temperature, or that an individual has a fever. The C-FIT should be used in conjunction with additional medical thermometers and/or advice from healthcare professionals.
The C-Fit should be used as an aid in determining possible cause for investigation with regard to an individuals health in conjunction with additional/professional medical equipment and/or personnel.
To take forehead temperature
Aim the C-FIT towards the forehead from a distance of 5 cm. Press the trigger and the temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen. Make sure the forehead is free from hair, perspiration or any cosmetic covering.

Whilst we take the greatest care to get all orders dispatched and delivered to you in the stated time frame, orders received PM and requiring calibration may on occasion miss dispatch that day, according to the complexity of the calibration.Be assured they will ship on the next dispatch this in most cases should not add more than 24 hours to your delivery.
Bank/Public Holidays
