The C-FIT is accurate to 0.3°C with 0.1°C resolution when measuring skin temperatures between 32.0°C to 42.5°C. It is also very easy to use with no training required.
The device can be used to measure the body surface and forehead temperature of infants and adults without contact with the human body. it is a certified medical non-contact infrared thermometer with a high accuracy of just 0.3°C.
It is suitable for detecting fever symptoms where an elevated skin surface temperature is often an indicative sign.
The C-Fit has a fast response time of 0.5 seconds, plus users can set their own alarm value which will alert them both visually and audibly when exceeded.
Users can easily recall the last 32 measurements for reference and recording purposes. The unit also has an auto-off feature to conserve battery power.
The C-Fit unit has been designed to take over 4000 readings making it ideally suited to high traffic areas such as Schools, work places, airports and hospitals.

Is the TestMate C-FIT thermometer suitable for detecting coronavirus (COVID-19)?
The TestMate C-FIT is a certified, medical, non-contact infrared forehead thermometer, with a high degree of accuracy (0.3°C). The device is suitable for detecting traces of fever, including coronavirus (COVID-19) and other fevers where a higher body temperature is a common symptom. The C-FIT should not be used as the sole determinant of body temperature, or that an individual has a fever. The C-FIT should be used in conjunction with additional medical thermometers and/or advice from healthcare professionals.
The C-Fit should be used as an aid in determining possible cause for investigation with regard to an individuals health in conjunction with additional/professional medical equipment and/or personnel.
To take forehead temperature
Aim the C-FIT towards the forehead from a distance of 5 cm. Press the trigger and the temperature will be displayed on the LCD screen. Make sure the forehead is free from hair, perspiration or any cosmetic covering.
