Information on the calibration of newly purchased equipment and what it means to you.
Calibration and its certification comes in varying forms on new equipment and in this section, we will break it down into the three areas that we use to classify calibration state at the point of purchase.
Manufacturers Calibration Certificate
This is a calibration certificate offered by the manufacturer supplied with the tester. This is also known as an end-of-line certificate or manufacturer’s certificate. These certificates vary depending on the manufacturer and product. They will not have your company's name on them and don’t always show proven test results.

This instrument comes complete with the manufacturer's calibration certificate. Please be aware that these certificates are generic and may also be time-lapsed.
If you would prefer a personalised full traceable calibration certificate applied to the equipment before dispatch, then please select this option from the drop-down menu above, an additional calibration charge will apply.Manufacturers Certificate of Conformity
A manufacturer's certificate of conformity is not a calibration certificate. It is merely a statement that the equipment has been produced to operate within its intended application, it has no traceable certificate or constitutes any defined results for accuracy before leaving the manufacturing process.

This instrument comes with a ‘manufacturer's certificate of conformity’. It is important to understand that this does NOT constitute a ‘calibration certificate’. A certificate of conformity merely states that the equipment has been designed and produced to meet the requirements of its intended application.
Where calibration of an instrument is possible we will offer this as a separately purchasable item and may be selected from the drop-down box above. This is a calibration certificate created by us at ISS. This certificate is fully traceable to national and international standards. The certificate will show your company's details, tester information, proven test results and the equipment used to carry out the test. Nearly 90% of all calibrations we do are done in-house in one of our many fully equipped laboratories. You can add this service to your order on the product page before you checkout.

Testo 770-3 Clamp Meter (Bluetooth)
The testo 770 Clamp Meter is ideally suited for current measurement in switching cabinets. A major advantage of the testo 770 is the fully retractable pincer. This unique mechanism means that cables in tight switching cabinets can be easily grabbed.
Another strong feature is the automatic measurement parameter detection. This ensures fast and reliable work: in the current and voltage area, all three versions of the clamp meter detect direct and alternating current and automatically select other parameters such as resistance, diode, capacitance, and continuity where applicable.

The testo 770-1 clamp meter is the standard version, perfect for the majority of daily measuring tasks, including starting current measurement.
The testo 770-2 also has a μA range as well as an integrated temperature adapter for all type K thermocouples.
In addition to the above features, the testo 770-3 model offers a performance measurement function and can be connected to the testo Smart Probes App by Bluetooth. In the App, you can display the measurement progression as a graph and document it directly into downloadable PDF reports. Another huge strength of the 770-3 version is it has the facility to measure Power/Wattage, and auto-calculates this.

The testo Smart Probes APP makes your mobile device to a remote control and measurement data centre
Application specific menus:
- AC + Refrigeration: automatic calculation of system parameters, like superheat or subcooling
- Volume Flow (outlet / duct): easy set up of your measurement and performing a punctual or continuous measurement.
- IR Temperature and Mould Indication: contactless temperature measurement with fast photo documentation and detection of areas with mould risk.

- Control and monitor the Smart Probes via Smartphone / Tablet wireless
- Import and store customer details to the app. The instruments are automatically reconnected to the specific job
- Monitor trendings via APP and record and send them as an excel sheet (.csv)
- Create and send .pdf-reports, incl. picture of the measurement location
- Create a professional looking report that can include your company name and graphic. Email the report from the app
- Use up to six smart probes at the same time
- Wireless range of appr. 15m (depends on mobile device used)
