Description

Socket and See Engineer Digital Multimeter

The Socket & See Engineer DMM is a versatile and reliable digital multimeter designed with exceptional functionality in mind. It offers auto/manual voltage selection allowing measurements up to 1000V, covering a wide range of electrical applications. Current measurement capabilities extend to microamps, milliamps, and currents of up to 10A (600A with clamp adaptor), in both AC and DC modes.
Advanced features include AC voltage waveform analysis, resistance measurement up to 60 megohms, and a built-in continuity check for simplified circuit testing.
Safety is prioritised with non-contact voltage detection (NCV) technology, alerting users to AC voltages above 100V without direct contact. Visual and audible indicators provide assurance during electrical inspections, and the non-contact frequency(NCF) detection feature allows measurement of frequencies from 45 to 75 Hz (50 to 500 VAC).

Convenience features enhance usability, such as the freeze/hold reading function for easy data capture and analysis, auto power-off to conserve battery life and a backlit LCD display for clear visibility in various lighting conditions. The multimeter also includes a relative reading (REL) mode for differential analysis and supports temperature measurement from -40°C to 1000°C, with the included K-type thermocouple extending the range to 250°C.
The Engineer DMM is a reliable tool suitable for professional electricians and engineers alike. With its precision, wide range of measurement options, and user-friendly interface, it ensures accurate measurements and enhances productivity in various electrical applications.

About Socket & See

Through consistent contact with Electricians, Engineers and Gas Installation engineers, Socket & See products have been around since 1998 and are designed with both professional and newly-qualified tradespeople in mind.

We started with 3 simple Socket Testers and a vision to develop a range of ‘easy-to-use’, innovative products which our customers could use straight from the box!

The initial principles still stand firm today, all our products have to be - simple to operate, of great quality, innovative, time-saving and cost-effective.
