Description

Radiodetection C.A.T and Genny NiMH Rechargeable battery kit 10/CATRECHARGEKIT

Overview:

This kit is a convenient and cost effective alternative to “single use” alkaline batteries for all C.A.T, SuperCAT, T1 and Genny models. It enables operators to extend the working hours of their products in conditions of high humidity and where the temperature is between 0°C and 50°C.

By no longer using Alkaline batteries, this kit also reduces disposal charges and helps protect the environment whilst saving significant costs over the typical life of your Cable Avoidance equipment. The lifetime of the batteries in this kit is 7000 hours @ 14 hours a day when used with a gC.A.T4 and Genny4.

The kit includes 6 x HR20 10000mAh NiMH batteries and a recharger with a mains connection. EU, UK and US options are available.

NiMH Charger Features:

Overcurrent protection Prevents battery from overcharging
Circuit protection Shuts down to protect the charger if a faulty or incorrect type of battery is plugged in
Overvoltage protection Shuts down when the voltage level is exceeded
Built in timer Turns off after 6.5 hours
Battery monitoring Protects the battery from operating outside its safe operating area
Staged Charging Charge starts slowly at 20% of output power, depending on whether battery is able to take charge

NiMH Battery Features:

Runtime Up to 14 hours continuous use
Usage Power output independent of battery state of charge, 500+ cycle times, more environmentally friendly than alkaline batteries
High Capacity 30% more capacity than NiCAD batteries. Delivers power from 0°C to 50°C at up to 75% humidity
Multi Use Standard HR20/LR20 size D-Cell, fits all Radiodetection Cable avoidance tools and Signal Generators (C.A.T and Genny)
Compact Size Easily transported
Standard Fit Can be substituted with LR20 Alkaline D-Cells in an emergency
