Description

PU690 690V Voltage Indicator Proving Unit

690V Proving Unit for Voltage Indicators will light all LED’s to 690V on the CombiVolt and most other 2 pole voltage testers

The PU690 enables you to prove your 2 pole voltage indicator by supplying a 690V AC voltage to the two input terminals.  With the inbuilt load of 200k ohms, at 690V the current is limited to 3.5mA.  In addition, the PU690 is also suitable to prove High and Low Impedance devices such as multimeters and clamps proving unit to enable compliance safety checking of voltage indicators for safe operation prior to testing on a live circuit.

The PU690 is designed with an ultra-bright LED high voltage output and low battery indicator clearly alerting the user during operation.

PU690 Key Features:

  • 690V AC Output
  • Designed to prove High/Low Impedance Instruments
  • Compatible with Voltage Testers and Multimeters
  • CAT II 750V Safety Rated

Is safe Isolation part of your testing regime?

“Adequate precautions shall be taken to prevent electrical equipment, which has been made dead in order to prevent danger while work is carried out on or near that equipment, from becoming electrically charged during that work if danger may thereby arise”.
