Description

Martindale NC2 Non-contact Voltage Tester

The NC2 is a non-contact voltage tester for accurately detecting the presence of AC voltages between 200V and 1000V. When voltages are detected, a bright red LED illuminates the clear tip of the NC2 and a buzzer sounds.

It will indicate approximately 4mm from a conductor at 240V AC, making it ideal for tracing live circuits within cable containment and for voltage detection in sockets and junction boxes. The NC2 can be used to differentiate between Live and Neutral wires and detect blown fuses.

The pen-shaped design with clip makes it ideal for carrying in a pocket or tool belt when working at height or in difficult to access locations. A built-in torch in the tip is ideal for use in low light areas illuminating the area under test. Other NC2 features include low battery indication and LED pulse when on.

The NC2 replaces the Martindale VT2.

Key Features:

  • Optimised for 230V single and 3 phase supplies
  • Audible and visual indication from 200V to 1000V AC
  • Clear tip for high visibility
  • Extended probe for easy access
  • LED torch for illuminating the test area
  • Power on LED pulse and low battery indication

More about the NC Series Testers:

The NC Series of non-contact testers can be used for reliable voltage and magnetic field detection. Voltage testing has been optimized for 230V systems with dual sensitivity available on the NC4.
The non-contact magnetic field detection capabilities of the NC1 and NC3 can be used for checking the operation of relays and solenoid valves in a wide range of machinery. This feature saves time by allowing testing without having to dismantle the equipment or control panel.
All models feature an extended clear tip with bright LED indication making it easy to identify the source.
The pen shape with clip makes it ideal for carrying in a pocket or toolbelt and a built-in torch in the tip aids use in low light areas.

Additional features NC1 and NC3

  • Yellow LED for magnetic field detection
  • Easy testing of solenoid valves and relays without dismantling equipment
