Description

Martindale CP501 Check Plug Socket Tester

Over 2 million people use Martindale's CP501 to check that sockets are working correctly - why not get one yourself and see how easy socket testing can be?
The CP501 Check Plug socket tester is a quick and simple way to check that standard UK 13A 3 pin sockets are correctly wired. Checking is extremely simple - insert the CP501 into the socket and if there's an issue, one or more of the three LED light indicators will dim.
A total of 28 different fault conditions can be shown by using the Check Plug, with printed graphical reminders on the front of the tester for common faults such as live neutral reverse, no earth, neutral fault and live earth reverse. An instruction card is included as standard with the tester detailing the full list of faults.

Key Features

  • Checks the internal wiring configuration of standard UK 13A sockets
  • Extremely simple to use
  • 3 bright LED indicators - if a light is dim, there's a problem with the socket
  • Designed not to trip RCDs - only induces less than 5mA of earth current
  • Robust, ABS housing with sculpted shape for easy removal
  • Look up chart included on tester for easy diagnosis of common faults
  • Detects a total of 28 different fault conditions
