Description
Extech EMF450 Multi-Field EMF Meter
The Extech EMF450 EMF meter is a useful instrument for measuring the electromagnetic field given off by home appliances, power lines, industrial devices and more. It gives measurements for magnetic fields, electric fields and RF strength at a frequency range of 50/60 Hz for electromagnetic field and 50MHz/3.5GHz for RF strength. A triple axis sensor gives greater detail for magnetic field whilst a range of units for each parameter provide flexibility for the user.
Feedback is given to the user via a colour display with traffic light-style alarms. Brightness is adjustable for different lighting conditions whilst an audible alarm indicates detection of problematic fields. The Extech EMF450’s internal memory has enough space for 20 RF historical records and data hold allows the user to freeze a reading on screen.
