Description
Extech RD300 Refrigerant Leak Detector
The RD300 Refrigerant Leak Detector detects leakages from air-conditioning units and cooling systems. It's easy to use and is ideal for detecting leaks from air-conditioning units and cooling systems that use all standard refrigerants.
When a refrigerant is detected, the Extech RD300 uses an LED indicator scale to highlight the level of gas detected; red, amber and green lights indicate the severity of a respective leak. An audible warning is alerted when a certain threshold has been passed.
The RD300 uses a long-length heated diode sensor to make measurements. This is attached to the main body of the tester via a flexible probe, allowing the user to easily move the sensor to the desired measurement point. A built-in torch light also ensures that the sensor can be used in darkened conditions.
This meter can be used to detect R-22, R-134A, R-404a, R-410a, all CFCs, HCFCs and HFC refrigerant types.
