Description

Megger IClamp Current clamp for use with DET3TC for ART & Stakeless testing

The Megger IClamp has the ability to measure very small currents, so Megger used this ability to add yet another benefit. The DET4TC is equipped with an earth leakage range, allowing quick and easy measurement of leakage current flowing into the earth system. So if you do need to disconnect an electrode for maintenance there are no nasty surpirses. The Megger DET4TC with an Megger IClamp is a flexible addition to your testing toolkit.

Key Features:

  • CAT IV 600 V current measurement to 1000 A AC
  •  1 mA/1 A sensitivity with rated burden of 1 Ω
  •  Large jaws for cables up to 52 mm
  •  Overvoltage protection of the output terminals
  •  Suitable for leakage currents

Typical Applications:

  •  Power quality analysers
  •  Oscilloscopes
  •  Motor testers
  •  Clamp enabled earth testers
  •  Attached Rod Technique (ART)
  •  Stakeless testing
  •  Data loggers
  •  Digital multimeters

If you would like to know more about ICLAMP VCLAMP or STAKELESS TESTING, downlaod the attached .PDF under the DATASHEETS tab.

ICLAMP can be used with the dedicated earth tester instruments DET3TC, DET4TC and DET4TCR and with the multifunction installation tester MFT1735 to perform the Attached Rod Technique (ART). ICLAMP can also be used in combination with a VCLAMP for stakeless testing using the DET4TC, DET4TCR and MFT1735.

With the MFT1730 and MFT1735 control switch in the clamp position ICLAMP can be used to measure current in the range from 1 mA to 1000 A

The ICLAMP is a non contact current sensing clamp which is simple to use and has application with the following instruments:
