Ideal Networks NaviTEK NT Plus

Network tester for troubleshooting and maintenance of active and passive copper and fibre networks.

The NaviTEK NT is a network tester for troubleshooting and maintenance of active and passive copper and fibre networks. Incorporating an improved graphical interface NaviTEK NT allows network technicians to pinpoint and solve network connectivity issues faster than ever before. Subsequently, tests can be saved as pdf reports and shared with colleagues and clients using the free IDEAL AnyWare™ app.

Today, network technicians have a broad selection of software troubleshooting tools at their disposal and whilst useful in certain situations and environments they do have limitations. NaviTEK NT on the other hand offers a comprehensive suite of test and troubleshooting functionality only found on dedicated hand-held testers:-

The NaviTEK NT Pro Comes Supplied With:

  • 1x NaviTEK NT test unit with touchscreen
  • 1x Remote unit No.1
  • 1x Rechargeable power module
  • 1 x PSU with EU/UK/US adapters
  • 1 x USB Wi-Fi adapter
  • 2 x Patch cables - 30cm, Cat. 5e STP
  • 1 x Quick reference guide
  • 1 x Carry case

  • User-exchangeable RJ45 inserts
  • Support for up to 12 wiremap remotes
  • Backlit colour screen

Plus the following additional features over the NaviTEK NT and PLUS models:

  • Fibre optic cable interface
  • Logon using the 802.1x protocol
  • Optical power level and pass/fail indication with supported SFP
  • Loopback mode for transmission testing on both copper and fibre interfaces

IDEAL Networks has added touchscreens to several of its network and data cable testers to make troubleshooting and transmission testing quicker and easier than ever before.

Following the upgrade, a 240 x 320-pixel LCD capacitive touchscreen will now be included as standard on all new NaviTEK NT Plus and Pro copper and fibre network troubleshooters, SignalTEK CT data cable transmission testers and SignalTEK NT network transmission testers.

All the new touchscreen models will enable fast and responsive data input, making it quicker to type names and other data into the tester. Like a smartphone or tablet, the capacitive screen is tough yet sensitive, ensuring only a light touch is needed to operate the onscreen keyboard. As many network technicians and data cable installers are already frequently using touchscreens on other devices, the upgraded IDEAL Networks testers offer a more intuitive way of working, helping to save time and increase efficiency on every job.
