Information on the calibration of newly purchased equipment and what it means to you.
Calibration and its certification comes in varying forms on new equipment and in this section, we will break it down into the three areas that we use to classify calibration state at the point of purchase.
Manufacturers Calibration Certificate
This is a calibration certificate offered by the manufacturer supplied with the tester. This is also known as an end-of-line certificate or manufacturer’s certificate. These certificates vary depending on the manufacturer and product. They will not have your company's name on them and don’t always show proven test results.

This instrument comes complete with the manufacturer's calibration certificate. Please be aware that these certificates are generic and may also be time-lapsed.
If you would prefer a personalised full traceable calibration certificate applied to the equipment before dispatch, then please select this option from the drop-down menu above, an additional calibration charge will apply.Manufacturers Certificate of Conformity
A manufacturer's certificate of conformity is not a calibration certificate. It is merely a statement that the equipment has been produced to operate within its intended application, it has no traceable certificate or constitutes any defined results for accuracy before leaving the manufacturing process.

This instrument comes with a ‘manufacturer's certificate of conformity’. It is important to understand that this does NOT constitute a ‘calibration certificate’. A certificate of conformity merely states that the equipment has been designed and produced to meet the requirements of its intended application.
Where calibration of an instrument is possible we will offer this as a separately purchasable item and may be selected from the drop-down box above. This is a calibration certificate created by us at ISS. This certificate is fully traceable to national and international standards. The certificate will show your company's details, tester information, proven test results and the equipment used to carry out the test. Nearly 90% of all calibrations we do are done in-house in one of our many fully equipped laboratories. You can add this service to your order on the product page before you checkout.

LinkSprinter 300 Network Tester
The LinkSprinter Pocket Network Tester verifies the functionality of copper Ethernet links and identifies errors in less than 10 seconds. The tester reveals network connectivity status and port information while ensuring documentation for every link. The comprehensive AutoTester measures PoE voltage, performs a switch test, and confirms the DHCP server is running and responsive.
The tester also verifies gateway/router, internal IP service, and cloud reachability. When paired with the secure Link-Live Cloud Service, the Network Tester automatically uploads results and allows annotation of results enabling job supervisors to easily manage the progress of deployment and troubleshooting tasks assigned to their team.

Key Features:
- Discover the nearest switch name and port information via CDP/LLDP/EDP, and verify link speed/duplex and connectivity to TCP/IP networks.
- Validate Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) voltage from power sourcing equipment (PSE) according to 802.3af/at standards.
- View detailed test results, add comments, and run cable tests using your mobile device over a Wi-Fi hotspot built into the LinkSprinter.
- Automate reporting and enable collaboration with test results upload and management via the free Link-Live Cloud Service.
Results On Your Phone
LinkSprinter can be paired with a mobile device to reveal more information about the network test! First, connect to the LinkSprinter as a short-range Wi-Fi access point. Then, open your browser on your mobile device and type in the address 172.16.9.9. The webpage will allow you to view more detailed information, such as port name, model, server address, and more. When connected with Link-Live, you can also add comments to your testing results for further documentation.
Cable Test
When paired with your mobile device, users can view a detailed depiction of the cable it is connected to, showing each cable pair, cable length, and any miswires such as opens, shorts, or split pairs.
Speed and Duplex
The LinkSprinter can test actual link speed against advertised speed of a switch. The Link Test LED will turn yellow indicating a warning, and detail test results will show advertised verses actual link speed when a Gigabit Switch port is only capable of linking at 100Mbps. Not being able to connect can be caused by an open, short or split pair. Using the LinkSprinter, users can further troubleshoot the problem by performing a cable test.
LinkSprinter Team Packs
The LinkSprinter was designed to be a personal tool allowing organizations to become more efficient at problem identification and trouble ticket escalation from the PC help desk on up. Blink Link Light and Identify Switch Port Connected
Verify the connection path between the jack location and switch port using the LinkSprinter. LinkSprinter will identify the switch name and port # by analyzing the CDP/LLDP packet from the switch. It can blink the link light on the switch port it is connected to, allowing users to identify the full connection path.

Whilst we take the greatest care to get all orders dispatched and delivered to you in the stated time frame, orders received PM and requiring calibration may on occasion miss dispatch that day, according to the complexity of the calibration.Be assured they will ship on the next dispatch this in most cases should not add more than 24 hours to your delivery.
Bank/Public Holidays
Predicted delivery times are based on regular trading days Monday to Friday. Public holidays, bank holidays and weekends are outside the usual scopeof our dispatch and subject to activities/holidays of our carriers and therefore may incur additional days lead time to your order.
