Information on the calibration of newly purchased equipment and what it means to you.
Calibration and its certification comes in varying forms on new equipment and in this section, we will break it down into the three areas that we use to classify calibration state at the point of purchase.
Manufacturers Calibration Certificate
This is a calibration certificate offered by the manufacturer supplied with the tester. This is also known as an end-of-line certificate or manufacturer’s certificate. These certificates vary depending on the manufacturer and product. They will not have your company's name on them and don’t always show proven test results.

This instrument comes complete with the manufacturer's calibration certificate. Please be aware that these certificates are generic and may also be time-lapsed.

A manufacturer's certificate of conformity is not a calibration certificate. It is merely a statement that the equipment has been produced to operate within its intended application, it has no traceable certificate or constitutes any defined results for accuracy before leaving the manufacturing process.

This instrument comes with a ‘manufacturer's certificate of conformity’. It is important to understand that this does NOT constitute a ‘calibration certificate’. A certificate of conformity merely states that the equipment has been designed and produced to meet the requirements of its intended application.
Where calibration of an instrument is possible we will offer this as a separately purchasable item and may be selected from the drop-down box above. This is a calibration certificate created by us at ISS. This certificate is fully traceable to national and international standards. The certificate will show your company's details, tester information, proven test results and the equipment used to carry out the test. Nearly 90% of all calibrations we do are done in-house in one of our many fully equipped laboratories. You can add this service to your order on the product page before you checkout.

Martindale VIPDLOKPRO150 Voltage Indicator, Proving Device & PRO Lock Kit
The ultimate solution for safe isolation, the Martindale VIPDLOKPRO150 lockout kit contains the VI-15000 voltage indicator, matching PD690 proving device and LOKKITPRO which contains the full range of Martindale locking off devices, all supplied in two convenient soft carry cases.
The kit simplifies compliance with Health & Safety recommendations for safe working practices when maintaining or installing electrical plant and equipment. The new VI-15000 has a 1000V CAT IV safety rating and LED indication for AC/DC voltages from 50V to 690V, ensuring compliance with health and safety recommendations for safe working in all BS EN61010 installation categories. The new LOKKITPRO is the ultimate lock out kit enabling safe isolation procedures to be carried out in all types of facility. The kit is ideal for contractors and maintenance teams working on industrial and commercial sites as it includes the full range of Martindale locking off devices, compatible with all distribution boards and red spot type fuse holders.
It includes the latest LOK7 slimline mcb lock for use on breakers where the position of the test button may prevent the use of conventional lock outs or access is restricted, plus a 1m cable lock device suitable for both electrical and mechanical locking out and a steel hasp for use with multiple padlocks for when more than one operator is working on the same installation. Multi-lock hasps ensure a circuit cannot be re-energised until each operator has finished work and removed their own padlock.

Nothing is more dangerous than trusting a defective voltage indicator to test for a dead circuit. Safe electrical work requires the use of a voltage indicator that has been proved with a proving unit before and after use.
The VI-15000 voltage indicator and matching PD690 proving unit are supplied in the TC69 combination carry case, keeping them together to ensure that the proving device is always at hand. For convenience and to save time, the Test & Go carry case allows use of the proving unit without having to remove it from the case each time. Martindale VIPDLOK and VIPDLOKPRO kits provide the simplest solution for implementing safe isolation practices on-site in accordance the Electricity at Work Regulations. The VI-15000 is the perfect voltage indicator for safe isolation, it’s safe because it’s simple with no ranges, switches or batteries to worry about, reducing the risk of a failing to identify a live voltage.
The PRO lock out kit is compatible with all distribution boards and includes all Martindale locking out devices, ensuring you are never stuck on-site without the right device to implement safe isolation. Spare and replacement individual lock off pieces are also available to order separately.
The kit comprises of 14 different locking devices for simple fitting to all MCBs, RCBOs and fuse holders. There is a plastic body padlock with unique key and a 6mm hardened steel shackle for securing the locking devices. The kit is completed with 5 warning tags, a marker pen and a durable case with space for storing additional accessories.

Whilst we take the greatest care to get all orders dispatched and delivered to you in the stated time frame, orders received PM and requiring calibration may on occasion miss dispatch that day, according to the complexity of the calibration.Be assured they will ship on the next dispatch this in most cases should not add more than 24 hours to your delivery.
Bank/Public Holidays
Predicted delivery times are based on regular trading days Monday to Friday. Public holidays, bank holidays and weekends are outside the usual scopeof our dispatch and subject to activities/holidays of our carriers and therefore may incur additional days lead time to your order.
