The Macrotest performs tests on electrical installations in accordance with BS7671(16th Edition) and satisfies all the electrical testing requirements of Part P.
Measurement of Continuity, Insulation, Global Earth values, RCDs test, line and fault loop impedance measurement with prospective short circuit current calculation and phase sequence indication are easily performed.
You can store the test results in the instruments memory, recall them on the instrument display and transfer them to a Serial Printer or PC. Easy to use thanks to a powerful microprocessor it provides a completely automatic system to record test results. The serial output RS232 allows the transfer of stored data to a PC.
The MACROTEST 5035 can be employed for testing civil and industrial electrical installations, tracking faults due to bad insulation, checking correct opperation of RCDs, measuring earth resistance of both simple (TT) and complex (TN) systems as well as measuring ground resistivity for designing of earthed installations.
